One sealed node design, deployed where power and demand already exist
DAIT places industrial-grade AI compute on sites that already have spare electrical capacity and usable space. The cabinet, the mesh OS and the commercial model stay the same across every sector — what changes is the host, the load profile and the approval path.
The hardware does not change. The deployment case does.
Every DAIT node attaches to an existing secondary grid drop, which is what allows deployment to skip substation interconnection, rezoning and multi-year municipal approval cycles. What differs between a hospital roof and a stadium pad is structural access, load profile, security posture and the data-governance regime the host operates under.
Existing capacity, not new capacity
Nodes are sized to spare capacity behind the meter. On-site storage absorbs peak demand, which is where commercial electricity bills concentrate.
Sealed for outdoor placement
An IP65-rated cabinet removes the need for conditioned indoor space. Roof, pad and wall placements all use the same enclosure and thermal design.
Compute inside the jurisdiction
Workloads execute in the region they serve, on a zero-trust mesh with mTLS identity, AES-256-GCM links and hardware-enforced memory encryption.
Five environments, one architecture
Each profile below sets out where the node physically sits, which tier applies, the technical constraints that govern feasibility, and what the host receives in return.
Hospitals & Healthcare Facilities
Rooftop and plant-level placement on medical campuses, where continuity of power and in-region handling of patient data are procurement conditions rather than preferences.
Stadiums & Large-Scale Venues
Large structural roof and pad area, existing high-capacity service, and a demand profile that swings hard around event days — the conditions peak shaving was built for.
Government & Municipal Infrastructure
Sovereign and in-jurisdiction compute for civic workloads, procured site by site against existing service rather than as a single multi-year capital program.
Corporate & Commercial Property
Offices, hotels and managed estates where roof space is idle, demand charges dominate the bill, and one master agreement can unlock a whole portfolio.
Residential & High-Density Housing
Wall and podium placement across managed residential developments. Residential is planned for a later phase and is not being assessed in the current commercial-only phase.
Three footprints of the same node
Tiers differ by cabinet count, not by architecture. Mid and High Tier figures are the Base Tier model scaled by cabinet count.
| Tier | Typical deployment site | Cabinets | Capacity / node | GPUs | Output tokens / sec |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Base Tier | Residential walls & urban micro-edge sites | 1× | ~20 kW | 16 | 3,520 |
| Mid Tier | Commercial rooftops, hotels & medical campuses | 2× | ~40 kW | 32 | 7,040 |
| High Tier | Stadiums, factories, ports & logistics hubs | 3× | ~60 kW | 48 | 10,560 |
Reference workload: Llama 3.3 70B Instruct, FP8 planning profile. Throughput figures are theoretical capacity at 100% utilization. DAIT is at pre-pilot stage — no node has yet been deployed in the field, and achieved GPU-hour rates and utilization remain unvalidated.
Five checks clear a site
The same qualification gate applies to every sector. Sites that clear all five move to survey and licensing.
- PowerSpare electrical capacity behind the existing service.
- SpaceRoof, pad or wall able to carry the cabinet.
- ConnectivityOn-site network connection, or a straightforward extension.
- ClearanceCrane or vehicle access for placement and servicing.
- LegalAuthority to grant multi-year licensing rights over the location.
Master site agreements: a single agreement with a multi-property owner can secure dozens of locations in one negotiation, which is how portfolio operators in commercial, residential and public estates are typically engaged.
